The Hellenic Passive House Institute was founded to preserve the integrity of the Passivhaus Standard and methodology, promote Passivhaus principles to the industry and government, undertake research and development on Passivhaus standards in Greece and promote, educate, facilitate and develop a strong identity, understanding and demand for the passive house concept. The Hellenic Passive House Institute signed a pre-affiliation agreement with iPHA in September 2012, which transferred over into full affiliation as of March 2013
